It is important to properly remove and install the shields on your helmet to ensure the highest level of vision clarity and overall protection. By following these simple steps, you can ensure that your visor is in the best possible condition to succeed in any application.
1.- Remove the right and left side shield pivot bolts with the hexagonal spanner provided with the helmet.
2.- Remove the left and right side friction sliders and screws with the hexagonal spanner provided.
3.- Remove the helmet shield and inspect for scratches or imperfections that may cause a decrease in the level of clarity of vision.
Using only the highest quality water-based automotive glass cleaner, gently wipe the visor with a microfibre cloth to ensure streak-free cleaning.
5.- To reinstall the shield, replace the shield on the helmet and replace the pivot screws on the helmet. Be careful not to overtighten the screws as this may damage the screw threads or the pivot inserts.
6.- Replace the friction sliders and screws and adjust to the desired level and close the guard. It may be necessary to adjust the eccentric knob.
7.- Check the action and function of the newly replaced guard before use to ensure that the installation was correct.
